Romance and marriage
So, I’m supposed to be cleaning for my Bible Study that is happening tonight, but I had to take a few minutes to talk about some romantic, sexual things and marriage.
Do you ever wonder if what is wrong with marriages in Christian society is that we are unwilling to acknowledge that we are created by God to be sexual? That we lack communication in this? Not men to women. I don’t think that we should be talking to our male brothers about sex unless we have married them. But I think brothers should be talking to eachother and sisters need to be talking to eachother. No tawdry details, though if you’re comfortable with that, go for it, but things we can do to spice things up for our husbands and wives. Also, husbands and wives had better be talking about it!
Too many Christian marriages are ending in divorce and this is a big part of it. And if we aren’t talking about it in truth, then the enemy can grab a foothold in our minds. This leads to a lot of affairs, sexual and emotional, in Christian marriages.
So, to my married lady friends, and to my soon-to-be married lady friends, check out a fantastic giveaway on Megan’s blog at http://myembellishedtruth.blogspot.com. Start talking! Start playing!
The couple that plays together, stays together! And, hey, if you don’t win or don’t want to wait, check out: www.hookinupholy.com
And if you want Scripture to get you thinking about how to see your spouse sexually, check out the entire Song of Solomon! There are also plenty of books out there that delve into that Scripture. So check out your local library or half.com or Scamazon, um, er, Amazon and pick one up! You’ll be SO happy you did!

Great post, Lisa!! Thanks for pimping me.
I love hookinupholy.com, great site!
Good post, Lisa, and thanks for the FB plug.
Sex is such an important part of marriage but it’s mostly overlooked and taken for granted.
Thanks guys for the kudos!
I just think that it’s kinda swept under the rug or that people should feel ashamed to talk about it, especially in Christian society. HELLO! We were created to do this! It kinda makes me angry…
