OK, some of the greatest, funniest, nicest people I’ve met in the blogosphere and Twitter are Canadian (Love you Captain! Love you Keely!), but your TV shows SUCK! I know you’ve all heard me complain about Caillou and his whiny, snotty attitude, but can I just ask y’all… WHAT IS UP 
WITH THE DOODLEBOPS!?!!??!!?? Seriously, if you think they look annoying, you should be stuck with my kid and a DVD for an hour! (I even have a disgusted look on my face as I type this, I just realized that.)
I was doing the laundry downstairs. You know, in the laundry room/basement? (big shock in and of itself, cuz, I’m very undomestic in so many ways!) So I’m down there folding laundry and realize that I’m humming. Then I stop to listen to what I’m humming. The theme song to “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” from when I was a kid! You know… the original. When the cartoons were actually good. I was very sad and realized I needed a life.
So, you may have heard/read on Twitter that I really wanted to go to the new Harry Potter movie. (You have no idea how badly I want to go!) Well, while I was out doing an outreach event with my church, I was talking to a fellow Potter fan and she has an EXTRA ticket and I can pay her back WHENEVER we have money again! I’m so stoked. And what’s more…. it’s the 12:01 showing NEXT Tuesday night/Wednesday morning! Because she’s a fan like that! SO FREAKING STOKED!!!!!
We took the girls to watch fireworks on Saturday, I thought they would be freaked out… nope! Annabelle is hardcore and never even flinched. Sophie had to “be brave” but by the end, she was giggling. (I think the vibration of the booms were tickling her)
I can’t think of any other random things to say except perhaps, “They’re coming to take me away, hee hee ha ha ho ho, to the FUNNY FARM!”

I do NOT miss the days of laundry in the basement. I remember once lifting a load of clothes off the floor to put into the washer and being confronted with a big ass missouri spider (aka BAMS) and screaming, returning with a combat boot to even the score.
